2 Days treks trip to Toubkal Mountain
The 2 days trip to Toubkal Mountain from Marrakech is a special experience for trekking lovers. Toubkal national park located at the high Atlas mountain, between the Ourika region to the east, and the N’Fiss valley to the west. At the middle of the national park you find the Toubkal Mountain, which considered the highest peak in North Africa with an altitude of 4167 metres above the level of the sea.
It is also considered as the most visited mountain in North Africa. During your trip from Marrakech expect to see natural and most beautiful geographic features. Also expect to pass by many natural water sources, rivers, mountain, valleys, cliffs, gorges, and Berber villages.

Itinerary of 2 Days treks trip:
Day 1: Marrakech- Imlil Village 1700M- Toubkal Refuge 3207M
The adventure starts from your Riad the early morning. Your driver will take you in a short trip of 1:30H through the Berber villages along the road to Imlil, then Armed village where the Driver will drop you off to start the trekking with local guide. Before starting the hike, we will offer you a mule to carry your luggage to the refuge, and the guide will advise you with the things you will need for the two days, and the night. Later you will start a hike that lasts for about 5hrs.
He will lead you through the Toubkal Park onto the shrine of Sidi Chamharouche. You will walk to the east crossing flood plains which take us to the mule trails, and up to rocky cliffs above the valley. You will cross the river to the pasture beside the Shrine of sidi Chamharouche where you will stop for lunch break. After the break we will follow the twisted trail up to an altitude of 3207M where the refuge. We will getting there at the afternoon to rest and have an early dinner, before you get to sleep.
Day 2: Toubkal refuge 3207M- Toubkal Mount peak 4167M- Toubkal refuge- Imlil- Marrakech.
About 3 hours before sunrise we will wake you up for a quick breakfast. Then we will move on to the Jbel Toubkal summit with an altitude of 4167M above the sea level, also considered as the highest peak in North Africa. To get in there, the guide will take you in the zigzagging rough tracks. Then, you will have the chance to enjoy the sunrise, and the stunningly view of mountains.
Later, you will go down to the refuge, and then walk back through the mule trails to get into the Sidi Chamharouch pastoral shrine. You will stop there for a lunch break. And then head to Armed village where you met the driver who will picks you back to Marrakech, where the adventure ends.
